IDENTIFY YOUR SKIN TYPE
SKIN TYPES
It’s important to identify your personal skin type before choosing your products. Use the following descriptions to ensure a perfect match and to properly care for your skin.
Dry | Mature Skin
Skin Condition:
Dry, Dehydrated
Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Sun Damage
Loss Of Elasticity
Your skin feels dry and tight, and sometimes you can see flakes on your cheeks, chin and forehead. Fine lines may be present around your eye and lip contour areas. It is important to use moisture-rich products such as hydrating oils, and a treatment serum to repair your skin. Weekly enzyme masks will keep your skin soft and supple and will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Normal skin has an even tone, and is not overly dry or oily. To keep the condition of your skin even and toned, a good skin care routine including cleansing, exfoliation and moisturizing is a must.
Typically, combination skin is characterized by dry, or flaking skin on the cheeks, while excessive oil and shine appears on other areas of the face. Those with combination skin are in a constant battle with their T-Zone, which includes the forehead, nose, and chin. If you have oily patches, you may have noticed the pores in these areas look larger. As the sebaceous glands under the skin produce excess sebum (the oily substance that makes your skin look shiny), your pores can become blocked by dead skin cells, causing sebum to build up and enlarge your pores. You’ve likely encountered plenty of “miracle” remedies designed to make your pores smaller—this remedy doesn’t truly exist. Skincare products have not been proven to actually reduce the size of your pores, but you can make them look smaller by keeping your pores clear with cleansing and regular exfoliation.

Occasional Or Persistant Breakouts
Your skin is shiny, has visible pores and is prone to spots and blemishes. Makeup seems to slide off your skin as soon as it is applied. Oily skin has the benefit of not showing lines easily, but needs to be maintained to help prevent breakouts and to control shine.
Despite the popular belief that acne is largely a teen issue, it can affect people of all ages. Acne-prone skin is usually marked by regular breakouts and clogged pores, but there is whole spectrum of acne severity. If you only have a rare pimple, then your body might be signally to you that there has been a hormonal or dietary breach in harmony. Try removing dairy and processed sugar and use tea tree oil 1-3 times a day as a spot treatment.
